
- A musical extract (1 minute) of "Wladimir" (extracted from "L'harmonie est-elle
municipale ?") was used twice in the film "Se
souvenir des belles choses" of Zabou Breitman (release in january 2002).
A magnificent use in a magnificent film .
- Robert Miny, the "Maestro" of the Cirque Plume, composed the original
music for "Le signaleur", a short film by Benoît Marriage,
which won an award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1997 within the framework
of the "International critic's week".
- Robert Miny also composed the music for a film by Vincent Ravalec "Cantique
de la Racaille", starring Yvan Attal, an official choice for the 1998
Cannes Film Festival. The music was recorded by members of the Cirque Plume
: Michèle Faivre, Jean-Marie Jacquet, Alain Mallet, Laurent Tellier,
and ... Robert Miny.
- Pierre Kudlak, performer (and co-director) of the Cirque Plume played a
character in the "Cirque Urbino" in the film "Le nain rouge"
(selected for the "Directors' Fortnight" at the 1998 Cannes Film
Festival).
The director, Yvan Lemoine, drew his inspiration for the final scene of the
film from Bernard Kudlak's "red nose" number in the Cirque Plume
show, "No animo mas anima". "Comme un vieux lion seul",
an extract from Robert Miny's music for the show "Toiles" was used
in the film.
- Manuel Poirier (director of "Western") used "Sur la place
de Favernay", from the show "Toiles" for the theme music of
his 90mn. documentary film about children from different backgrounds shown
on Tuesday 20 October 1998 at 8.30 p.m. in Patrick de Carolis's programme
"Hors Série" on France 3.
